The method to unlocking the "true ending" is absolute bullshit though. One of the best RPGs on the system and worth checking out for sure. This system adds some strategy to battles and makes fights more interesting, especially Bosses. "Defaulting" gives you a BP, which enables you to defend for that turn, while "Bravely" uses up a BP, which lets you use an extra ability that turn for each BP you spent. Combat uses a "Brave Point" stocking system. Remember Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light on the DS? This is a spiritual successor to it that basically fixes a lot its issues, and instead of being based off FF3, it's based off of FF5 and FFT, taking the best parts of both and mashing them together for a kickass job system. Make sure you pay off your house bill and get all your permits in line in the first day, because it's basically essential for stuff such as Streetpass. New shops exist such as Re-Tail, where you can buy and sell items at a kind-of flea market. Next to your new banana-dog assistant, Isabelle. Pretty good improvement from the older games in which you are the mayor of your town and can develop and help out your community. The "+" re-release adds some new features, including support for the new buttons, facial camera tracking for the new 3DS, as well as some Nintendo themed aircraft and amiibo support. If you hated the most recent Ace Combat, then this is right up your alley. Not related to the console game Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, this is actually a port of Ace Combat 2, and an excellent title.
